A wealth of talent from the region gathered at Watershed earlier this last week for the annual Royal Television Society West of England Student Awards.
A Productions director Joanna Hepworth joined other industry professionals on the judging panel for the Animation and Drama categories. Entries were shortlisted in January and the winners revealed at the ceremony.

RTS awards are highly coveted by both rising and established talent in the TV industry and Joanna was impressed by the quality of the student entries.
“It was a joy to see how much talent there is in the region and the awards felt like a real insight into who to look out for in the future. It was an honour to be able to present the Animation Award on Monday and there was a great turnout.
“All the winners and short-listed candidates should be so proud of what they have achieved and I look forward to seeing what the next few years hold for them.”
